Courtney helped us find our perfect home in record time and we couldn't be happier with how every part of the process went from the initial search right down to support with moving and aftercare. From the moment we met Courtney we could tell that we were in excellent, well experienced hands. Courtney comes from a real estate family and has a deep understanding of the Toronto housing market which we were really able to use to find our perfect home. It was a pleasure working with Courtney, we even had a blast! She was able to really tailor her approach to our needs and wishes and as this was our first home we really appreciated the expert guidance. We would use Courtney and the team again in a heartbeat!

Farquhar Advantage has a great history of making deals happen, so I chatted with Courtney. She was easy to communicate with, responsive to my questions and calls, and had a high level of professionalism. I genuinely felt she and her team understood my needs, and would help me make the best decision for my family. Courtney’s hard work, knowledge and shrewd negotiating skills found me the right house for the right price! After closing, with Courtney’s guidance and connections, I was able to engage excellent tradesmen so that the house reflected my style. Talk about going the extra mile!"

"The process of purchasing my first place was made so easy and comfortable by the team, especially Ruairi! As a first time home buyer, he helped me to understand the process and walked me through all of the steps to ensure that I was fully prepared, especially on an offer night (which made that night even less stressful!). He offered recommendations and took the time to understand what I was looking for and made it easy to communicate with him during the process. I felt very supported and could feel how excited the team was when my offer was accepted!"

Courtney was incredible at helping me find my condo. As a first time buyer, her support was bar none the most intuitive, organized, encouraging, and realistic in guiding me towards what I wanted for my budget. She was able to anticipate everything from the starting search to the closing process, with all the little details in between. She made home buying fun and stress free. I recommend her with zero hesitation. I’m so grateful for her services!

Featured Neighbourhoods
We know Toronto. Thanks to a rewarding combined 35-year history in this market, and, by virtue of being native Torontonians ourselves, we are intimately familiar with this city and all of its delightful pockets. We take pride in Toronto’s cultural diversity, its world-class amenities, and the myriad opportunities that await those seeking to invest in the rich tapestry of Toronto neighbourhoods.
A well-established, affluent area, renowned for its reputable schools and its mix of both traditional and modern homes, Edenbridge-Humber Valley is one of the most beautiful pockets in Toronto, and features rolling terrain, mature trees, and an abundance of green space. The north-east corner is adjacent to the Humber River Parkland, which includes James Gardens and links into an extensive bike-trail system. For those seeking the greenest of pastures, the neighbourhood is idyllically flanked by three prestigious golf courses: the well-known St. George’s Golf and Country Club to the north-west, the Islington Golf Club to the south and Lambton Golf and Country Club across the Humber River bordering on the east. Edenbridge is a prestigious neighbourhood with large new or renovated custom homes on spacious, park-like lots. Humber Valley house styles include Tudor, Georgian, Colonial, Cape Cod, bungalows, split-level, and contemporary. The Edenbridge and Humber Valley neighbourhoods are an ideal place to raise a family. Members of our Farquhar Advantage team live in the Humber Valley Village/Chestnut Hills neighbourhood. We love the friendly
atmosphere, amazing schools, great location, access to transit, major highway and the airport.
Sunnylea sounds akin to “Pleasantville,” a picture-perfect neighbourhood, with beautiful homes and a strong sense of community, and, in that sense, the name is a very apt one. In fact, the idyllic description applies to the enclave’s even broader parameters, the wider area known as Stonegate-Queensway. The community includes the smaller pockets of Sunnylea, Norseman, Queensway Village, Humber Bay (north) and Stonegate, and offers a variety of homes, ranging from quaint and cozy, to sprawling and luxurious. You will also find new and renovated homes, modern condominiums, and classic townhouses. Nearby urban amenities include the Kingsway shopping district on Bloor with its boutiques and restaurants, and the shopping and eateries along Islington south of Bloor and on the Queensway. Transit runs along the main arteries to the subway stops at Islington and Royal York; and drivers benefit from convenient access to the highway from Islington south. Families and nature lovers appreciate the sprinkling of parks throughout. The area is popular with families, young professionals and active retirees who are drawn to the condominiums along the subway line.
The Kingsway is a coveted neighbourhood in west Toronto that borders the Humber River Park system to the east. The neighbourhood has a decidedly English flair with classic Victorian and Edwardian architecture. The mature, tree-lined streets, generous lots, immaculate gardens and wrought iron streetlamps add to the stately ambiance.
Robert Home Smith, an Etobicoke lawyer, purchased what was the old King’s Mill and developed what became known as “Kingsway Park” in the 1920s using locally sourced materials including quarried stone from the Humber. He also created the well-known Tudor-style Old Mill Restaurant and is the namesake of Home Smith Park.
The majority of homes in The Kingsway are traditional, two-storey detached, generous in size, with stone or Tudor detailing, leaden windows and intricate brick patterns. Although many homes have been renovated over the years there is an obvious effort to remain true to the neighbourhood’s character. Nearby amenities include James Gardens, four local golf courses, libraries, renowned schools (both public and private) and excellent shopping and dining.
As the saying goes, “it takes a village,” and you couldn’t ask for a better one than this. Bloor West Village comprises the ever-popular, eponymously named shopping district, and is framed by tree-lined streets, featuring classic two- and two-and-a-half-storey homes, most of which date back to the early- to mid-1900s. Conveniently located between Runnymede and Jane subway stations, the area features first-rate restaurants, cozy cafés, charming boutiques, specialty food stores and a wide range of services. Many of the neighbourhood’s homes have been thoughtfully renovated with efforts to preserve the original architectural charm of the area, including deep porches and signature columns. Area residents love the lively atmosphere, excellent schools, and, of course, the close proximity to High Park.
New York has Central Park and Toronto has High Park. The 400-acre urban oasis features playgrounds, sporting facilities, and even a zoo, and serves as the heart and soul of the surrounding west-end neighbourhood known as High Park-Swansea. Here, you can shop for fresh produce on Bloor Street West, stop for a coffee, enjoy a swim, skate, or jog, smell the roses (or cherry blossoms) in the park, or bike down to the waterfront trail. High Park and Swansea conveniently span Bloor West to the north, and the lakeshore to the south, with easy subway access to downtown at nearby Jane and at High Park stations. The area appeals to young families, down-sizers, young professionals, and sports enthusiasts. The area’s stately residences, unique two- and three-storey brick homes, are emblematic of classic, Toronto architecture. Homes have an abundance of charm and are further enhanced by the neighbourhood’s gently rolling terrain and mature trees.
Roncesvalles is an area rich in history with Polish roots. It features a vibrant and eclectic commercial area with first-rate restaurants and uber-cool music venues. The residential area is popular with young families, in part, because you can walk to local parks and skating rinks; enjoy the benefits of farm-to-table fare thanks to the farmers' market at Sorauren Park; and browse the many shops and services on Roncesvalles Avenue. The houses in this community reflect various architectural styles, the most predominant among them being Victorian- and Edwardian-style homes, many of which feature charming front porches. You will find both detached and semi-detached styles, as well as loft-style condominiums along Sorauren. The area is consummately appealing thanks to its lush, canopy of mature trees and its small-town feel, despite being in a major urban centre.
As its name implies, “The Junction” is just that: a meeting place. The moniker, which derives from the area’s origins as a railway hub, is equally fitting today, as this beloved west-end neighbourhood represents a crossroads between small, close-knit community vibes, and dynamic urban culture and convenience. The area has transformed from its industrial beginnings and is now teeming with young families and urban professionals. The main throughfare on Dundas, west of Keele, includes a variety of businesses, including service providers, cafés, pubs, restaurants, fitness and yoga studios, art galleries and organic food and clothing retailers. It is situated on Dundas West between Runnymede and the CNR/CPR lines that run north-south (east of Keele) between Humberside (south of Annette) and Eglinton to the north. Residences in the area include a mix of two-storey detached, semi-detached, multi-unit dwellings, and condo apartments.
This neighbourhood’s very name sounds like something straight out of a fairy tale and after strolling around its wide, treelined streets, it’s easy to see why. Princess-Rosethorn offers the elusive cocktail of close-knit community and quiet tranquility normally reserved for places well outside city limits, combined with easy access to all of the amenities, vibrancy and infrastructure of a world-class city.
Spanning Eglinton to Rathburn from north to south, and Islington to Martin Grove from east to west, everything about this coveted neighbourhood feels lush, from its expansive lots – upon which 95% of the homes are fully detached and have a minimum of three bedrooms – to its proximity to numerous parks, first-rate schools, and the prestigious St. George’s Golf and Country Club.
